I came to yoga like many others through personal emotional issues. Through my physical practice I have found an inner sense of calmness, strength, focus, and a stronger belief in myself, which has been a lifetime issue for me.
I trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa and Rocket for my 200hrs and have since trained in level 1 yin yoga, meridian massage, and am a level 2 reiki practitioner.
My classes are usually strength based, drawing on Sthira Sukham Asanam which was one of the first sayings in yoga that struck a chord within me.
Sthira is steadiness, Sukha is ease, and we find this balance not just on the yoga mat but everyday life. I love help/guiding others through their practice, it just brings a lot of joy and appreciation that this is my job.
